"At the root of our traditional units of measurement is the ancient, mystical science of numbers, to which Plato makes an obscure reference towards the end of Epinomis, here quoted from Lamb's translation.
The most important and first (study) is of numbers in themselves: not of those which are corporeal, but of the whole origin of the odd and the even and the greatness of their influence on the nature of reality. When he has learnt these things, there comes next what they call by the very ridiculous name of geometry, when it proves to be a manifest likening of numbers not like one another by nature in respect of the province of planes; and this will be clearly seen by him who is able to understand it to be a marvel, not of human but of divine origin. And then, after that, the numbers thrice increased and like to the solid nature, and those again which have been made unlike, he likens by another art, namely that which its adepts call stereometry.'
The text is probably corrupt, the expressions are unfamiliar and it is hard to follow Plato's meaning. But the reference, both here and in another passage in Laws, is to some method of relating different classes of phenomena to one numerical system, by which the adept may come to understand the unifying principle in nature. Of this knowledge Plato declares that it is the greatest of all blessings both to him who possessed it and to his community, but if it can not be acquired, the best substitute is simple faith in God since, on the / Page 110 / word of an initiate, matters are far better arranged than we can possibly conceive. He continues,'Every diagram and system of number and every combination of harmony and the agreement of the revolution of the stars must be made manifest as one in all to him who learns in the proper way, and will be made manifest if a man learns aright by keeping his eyes on unity; for it will be manifest to us as we reflect, that there is one bond naturally uniting all these things.'
The number 666 in metrology
The number which above all others acts as a bond between the various units of measurement is the perfect number of Chaldean mathematics, 666. For example, 666 feet = 150 cubits + 150 MY while 666 square feet = 90 square MY. Also 6660 square yards = 902 square MY and 66,600 square feet = 1502 square cubits. The Babylonians had a decimal system, but they also reckoned in units of 6, 60 and 600 and a curious survival of this system is found in the letters which the Romans used as numerals, for the sum of I, V, X, L, C and D is 666. "

Old City of Jerusalem and its Walls
As a holy city for Judaism, Christianity and Islam, Jerusalem has always been of great symbolic importance. Among its 220 historic monuments, the Dome of the Rock stands out: built in the 7th century, it is decorated with beautiful geometric and floral motifs. It is recognized by all three religions as the site of Abraham's sacrifice. The Wailing Wall delimits the quarters of the different religious communities, while the Resurrection rotunda in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre houses Christ's tomb.

THE MAGIC MOUNTAIN
Thomas Mann 1875-1955
Page 466
"Had not the normal, since time was, lived on the achievements of the abnormal? Men consciously and voluntarily descended into disease and madness, in search of knowledge which, acquired by fanaticism, would lead back to health; after the possession and use of it had ceased to be conditioned by that heroic and abnormal act of sacrifice. That was the true death on the cross, the true Atonement."

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The conception of the philosophical child, allegorized as the conception of Orion by three fathers.
The filius philosophorum (Latin for "the philosophers' child", i.e. made by the true students of philosophy) is a symbol in alchemy. In some texts it is equated with the philosopher's stone (lapis philosophorum), but in others it assumes its own symbolic meanings. Other terms for the filius philosophorum include filius sapientiae ("child of wisdom"), infans noster ("our child"), infans solaris ("sun child"), infans lunaris ("moon child"), and infans solaris lunaris ("sun moon child").
There are several images that have been used to represent the filius philosophorum. Among these are the transformed hermaphroditic Hermes, the child of the Red King and the White Queen (the Sun and Moon), the child of the egg, and the three-fathered Orion.

Hindu god Vishnu's ten major avatars (Balarama-Krishna version) Dasavatara shrine, 18th century ivory, National Museum, New Delhi
Avatar (Sanskrit: अवतार, IAST: Avatāra; pronounced [ɐʋɐt̪aːɾɐ]) is a concept within Hinduism that in Sanskrit literally means 'descent'. It signifies the material appearance or incarnation of a powerful deity, or spirit on Earth.[1][2] The relative verb to "alight, to make one's appearance" is sometimes used to refer to any guru or revered human being.[3][4]
The word avatar does not appear in the Vedic literature;[5] however, it appears in developed forms in post-Vedic literature, and as a noun particularly in the Puranic literature after the 6th century CE.[6] Despite that, the concept of an avatar is compatible with the content of the Vedic literature like the Upanishads as it is symbolic imagery of the Saguna Brahman concept in the philosophy of Hinduism. The Rigveda describes Indra as endowed with a mysterious power of assuming any form at will.[7][8] The Bhagavad Gita expounds the doctrine of Avatara but with terms other than avatar.[6][4]
Theologically, the term is most often associated with the Hindu god Vishnu, though the idea has been applied to other deities.[9] Varying lists of avatars of Vishnu appear in Hindu scriptures, including the ten Dashavatara of the Garuda Purana and the twenty-two avatars in the Bhagavata Purana, though the latter adds that the incarnations of Vishnu are innumerable.[10] The avatars of Vishnu are important in Vaishnavism theology. In the goddess-based Shaktism tradition of Hinduism, avatars of the Devi in different appearances such as Tripura Sundari, Durga, Chandi, Chamunda, Mahakali, and Kali are commonly found.[11][12][13] While avatars of other deities such as Ganesha and Shiva are also mentioned in medieval Hindu texts, this is minor and occasional.[14] The incarnation doctrine is one of the important differences between Vaishnavism and Shaivism traditions of Hinduism.[15][16]
Incarnation concepts that are in some aspects similar to avatar are also found in Buddhism,[17] Christianity,[5] and other religions.[17]
The scriptures of Sikhism include the names of numerous Hindu gods and goddesses, but it rejected the doctrine of savior incarnation and endorsed the view of Hindu Bhakti movement saints such as Namdev, that formless eternal god is within the human heart, and man is his own savior.[18][19]
Etymology and meaning
The Sanskrit noun (avatāra, Hindustani: [əʋˈtaːr]) is derived from the Sanskrit prefix ava- 'down' and the root tṛ 'to cross over'.[20] These roots trace back, states Monier-Williams, to -taritum, -tarati, -rītum.[3]
Avatar means 'descent, alight, to make one's appearance',[3] and refers to the embodiment of the essence of a superhuman being or a deity in another form.[20] The word also implies "to overcome, to remove, to bring down, to cross something".[3] In Hindu traditions, the "crossing or coming down" is symbolism, states Daniel Bassuk, of the divine descent from "eternity into the temporal realm, from unconditioned to the conditioned, from infinitude to finitude".[5] An avatar, states Justin Edwards Abbott, is a saguna (with form, attributes) embodiment of the nirguna Brahman or Atman (soul).[21] Avatar, according to Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati actually means 'divine descent' in his commentaries of The Shrimad Bhagavatam and The Bramha Samhita (mentioned in Brahmavaivarta Purana).
Neither the Vedas nor the Principal Upanishads ever mention the word avatar as a noun.[5] The verb roots and form, such as avatarana, appear in ancient post-Vedic Hindu texts, but as "action of descending", but not as an incarnated person (avatara).[22] The related verb avatarana is, states Paul Hacker, used with double meaning, one as action of the divine descending, another as "laying down the burden of man" suffering from the forces of evil.[22]
The term is most commonly found in the context of the Hindu god Vishnu.[1][3] The earliest mention of Vishnu manifested in a human form to establish Dharma on Earth, uses other terms such as the word sambhavāmi in verse 4.6 and the word tanu in verse 9.11 of the Bhagavad Gita,[4] as well as other words such as akriti and rupa elsewhere.[23] It is in medieval era texts, those composed after the sixth century CE, that the noun version of avatar appears, where it means embodiment of a deity.[6] The idea proliferates thereafter, in the Puranic stories for many deities, and with ideas such as ansha-avatar or partial embodiments.[4][1]
The term avatar, in colloquial use, is also an epithet or a word of reverence for any extraordinary human being who is revered for his or her ideas.[20] In some contexts, the term avatara just means a 'landing place, site of sacred pilgrimage', or just 'achieve one's goals after effort', or retranslation of a text in another language.[3] The term avatar is not unique to Hinduism even though the term originated with Hinduism. It is found in the Trikaya doctrine of Mahayana Buddhism, in descriptions for the Dalai Lama in Tibetan Buddhism, and many ancient cultures.[17]
Avatar versus incarnation
The manifest embodiment is sometimes referred to as an incarnation.[24] The translation of avatar as "incarnation" has been questioned by Christian theologians, who state that an incarnation is in flesh and imperfect, while avatar is mythical and perfect.[25][26] The theological concept of Christ as an incarnation, as found in Christology, presents the Christian concept of incarnation. The term avatar in Hinduism refers to act of various gods taking form to perform a particular task which in most of the times is bringing dharma back. The concept of avatar is widely accepted all over the India.[27] Sheth disagrees and states that this claim is an incorrect understanding of the Hindu concept of avatar.[28][note 1] Avatars are embodiments of spiritual perfection, driven by noble goals, in Hindu traditions such as Vaishnavism.[28] The concept of the avatar in Hinduism is not incompatible with natural conception through a sexual act, which is again different from the Christian concept of the Virgin Birth.
As a loanword
Following 19th Century Western interest in Indian culture and Hinduism, the word "Avatar" was taken as loanword into English and other Western languages, where it is used in various contexts and meanings, often considerably different from its original meaning in Hinduism - see Avatar (disambiguation).
Avatars of Vishnu
Main article: Vishnu
The concept of avatar within Hinduism is most often associated with Vishnu, the preserver or sustainer aspect of God within the Hindu Trinity or Trimurti of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Vishnu's avatars descend to empower the good and fight evil, thereby restoring Dharma. Traditional Hindus see themselves not as "Hindu", but as Vaishnava (Worshippers of Vishnu), Shaiva (Worshippers of Shiva), or Shakta (Worshipper of the Shakti). Each of the deities has its own iconography and mythology, but common to all is the fact that the divine reality has an explicit form, a form that the worshipper can behold.[30] An oft-quoted passage from the Bhagavad Gita describes the typical role of an avatar of Vishnu:[9][26]
Arjuna, whenever righteousness is on the decline, unrighteousness is in the ascendant, then I body Myself forth.
For the protection of the virtuous, for the extirpation of evil-doers, & for establishing Dharma (righteousness) on a firm footing, I manifest Myself from age to age.
— Bhagavad Gita 4.7–8
The Vishnu avatars appear in Hindu mythology whenever the cosmos is in crisis, typically because evil has grown stronger and has thrown the cosmos out of its balance.[31] The avatar then appears in a material form, to destroy evil and its sources, and restore the cosmic balance between the ever-present forces of good and evil.[31]
The most known and celebrated avatars of Vishnu, within the Vaishnavism traditions of Hinduism, are Krishna, Rama, Narayana and Vasudeva. These names have extensive literature associated with them, each has its own characteristics, legends and associated arts.[26] The Mahabharata, for example, includes Krishna, while the Ramayana includes Rama.[32]
Dashavatara
Main article: Dashavatara
The Bhagavata Purana describes Vishnu's avatars as innumerable, though ten of his incarnations, the Dashavatara, are celebrated therein as his major appearances.[10][26] The ten major Vishnu avatars are mentioned in the Agni Purana, the Garuda Purana and the Bhagavata Purana.[33][34]
The ten best known avatars of Vishnu are collectively known as the Dashavatara (a Sanskrit compound meaning "ten avatars"). Five different lists are included in the Bhagavata Purana, where the difference is in the sequence of the names. Freda Matchett states that this re-sequencing by the composers may be intentional, so as to avoid implying priority or placing something definitive and limited to the abstract.[35]

BRITISH SURREALIST ARTIST CLAIMS TO ENTER OTHERDIMENSION
Here I am in-between The Spaces of Here And There
David Denison a British Surrealist painter and self-
proclaimed magician, has mystified the art world with
his claim of discovering an alternate reality he calls
the "Denison Dimension", also known as the "I'm
Denison Dimension". His other worldly canvases
depict surreal ever-shifting landscapes and and cryptic
symbols that defy logic, drawing viewers into a
dreamlike realm. Denisons artistry extends beyond
paint: he appears to manipulate language itself,
embedding layered meanings into his words as if
unlocking hidden codes.
The press speculate that Denison may have
uncovered the legendary Philosopher's stone, as his
work teems with alchemical themes of transformation
and secret knowledge. Whether a visionary or true
Magician, Denison is redefining the boundaries of
imagination. His enigmatic blend of art, mysticism
and linguistic wizardry continue to captivate audiences
leaving them questioning the limits of reality itself.

"By writing the 26 letters of the alphabet in a certain order one may put down almost any message (this book 'is written with the same letters' as the Encyclopaedia Britannica and Winnie the Pooh, only the order of the letters differs). In the same way Nature is able to convey with her language how a cell and a whole organism is to be constructed and how it is to function. Nature has succeeded better than we hum~ns; for the genetic code there is only one universal language which is the same in a man, a bean plant and a bacterium. TEACHINGS ON THE AVATARS(1)
THE Avatara is a divine
incarnation. It is the
descent of a god or some exalted Being, who has progressed beyond the
necessity of rebirths, into the body of a simple mortal. Krishna was
an avatar of Vishnu. The Dalai Lama is regarded as an avatar of Avalokiteswara;
the Teshu Lama as one of Tson-kha-pa, or Amitabha. All these are but
different terms used by different peoples to indicate one and the same
LOGOS, the Divine Christos, the Anima Mundi. It is the "Word made
Flesh" in every religion, in India a Proteus of 1008 divine names
and aspects, from Brahma-Purusha down through the Seven divine Rishis
... to the divine-human avatars.
THE
BUDDHA 234481 BUDDHA
THE
BUD HAD
As the synthesis of the seven Dhyani-Buddhas, Avalokiteswara
was the first Buddha - the LOGOS; so Amitabha is the inner "God"
of Gautama who, in China, is called Amita-(Buddha). As the reader is
supposed not to be acquainted with the Dhyani-Buddhas, it is as well
to say at once that, esoterically, they are seven, of whom five only
have hitherto manifested, and two are to come in the sixth and seventh
root-races. They are, as Mrs Rhys Davids correctly states, "the
glorious counterparts in the mystic world, free from the debasing conditions
of this material life" of every earthly mortal Buddha. They are,
so to speak, the eternal prototypes of the Buddhas who appear on this
earth, each of whom has his particular divine prototype.
Buddha means "the Enlightened" in the highest
degree of knowledge. To become a Buddha one has to break through the
bondage of sense and personality; to acquire a complete perception of
the REAL SELF and learn not to separate it from all other selves; to
learn by experience the utter unreality of all phenomena of the visible
Kosmos first of all; to reach a complete detachment from all that is
evanescent and finite, and live while yet on Earth in the immortal and
everlasting alone, in a supreme state of holiness. Yet it is taught
that everyone may become a Buddha; and a precept of Tibet has it that
"even the mountains will become Buddha." The Way of Gautama,
and of all the avatars, is the Way for every human soul, and is thus
beautifully described. Starting upon the long journey immaculate; descending
more and more into sinful matter, and having connected himself with
every atom in manifested Space, the Pilgrim, having struggled through
and suffered in every form of life and being, is only at the bottom
of the valley of matter, and half through his cycle, when he has identified
himself with collective Humanity. This, he has made in his own image.
In order to progress upwards and homewards, the "God" has
now to ascend the weary uphill path of the Golgotha of Life. It is the
martyrdom of self-conscious existence. Like Visvakarman he has to sacrifice
himself to himself in order to redeem all creatures, to resurrect from
the many into the One Life. Then he ascends into heaven indeed; where,
plunged into the incomprehensible absolute Being and Bliss of Paranirvana
he reigns unconditionally, and whence he will re-descend again at the
next "coming," which one portion of humanity expects in its
dead-letter sense as the "second advent" and the other as
the last "Kalki Avatar."
The Logoi of all nations are the "Word" who
was "in the beginning" (or the reawakening of the energizing
powers of Nature) with the One ABSOLUTE. Whenever it - the "Word,"
the Divine Spirit which is sevenfold -- is manifested, desiring to impress
itself upon humanity in a shape intelligible to our intellect, whether
we call it an Avatar, or a king Messiah, or a permutation of the Divine
Spirit, Logos, Christos - it is all one and the same thing. In each
case it is "the Father" who is in the Son, and the Son in
"the Father." The immortal spirit overshadows the mortal man.
It enters into him, and pervading his whole being makes of him a god,
who descends into his earthly tabernacle. Esotericism teaches that there
never yet was a great World-reformer, whose name has passed into our
generation, who (a) was not a direct emanation of the LOGOS (under whatever
name known to us), i.e., an essential incarnation of one of the Seven;
and (b) who had not appeared before, during the past Cycles.
This explains the cause which produces in history and
chronology certain riddles of the ages; the reason why, for instance,
it is impossible for men to assign any reliable dates to Zoroaster,
who is found multiplied by twelve and fourteen in the Dabistan; why
the Rishis and Manus are so mixed up in their numbers and individualities;
why Krishna and Buddha speak of themselves as "reincarnations,"
i.e., Krishna is identified with the Rishi Narayana, and Gautama gives
a series of his previous births -- and why the former, especially, being
"the very supreme Brahma," yet is called "Amsamsavatara"
- "a part of a part" only of the Supreme on Earth. Finally,
why Osiris is a great God, and at the same time a "prince on Earth,"
who reappears as Thoth-Hermes, and why Jesus (in Hebrew, Joshua) of
Nazareth is recognized, cabalistically, in Joshua, the Son of Nun, as
well as in other personages. The esoteric doctrine explains it by saying
that each of these (as many others) had first appeared on earth as one
of the seven powers of the LOGOS, individualized as a God or "Angel"
(messenger); then, mixed with matter, they had reappeared in turn as
great sages and instructors, who "taught the Fifth Race,"
after having instructed the two preceding races, had ruled during the
Divine Dynasties, and had finally sacrificed themselves, to be reborn
under various circumstances for the good of mankind, and for its salvation
at certain critical periods - until in their last incarnations they
had become truly only "the parts of a part" on earth, though
de facto the One Supreme in Nature.
This is the metaphysics of Theogony. And as every power
among the Seven has (once individualized) in his charge one of the elements
of creation, and rules over it, hence the many meanings in every symbol,
which unless interpreted according to esoteric methods, generally lead
to an inextricable confusion. The personages called in Northern Buddhist
religion "Buddhas," may just as well be called Rishis,
Avatars, Manus, etc. These great Mahatmas, or Buddhas,
are a universal and common property ... the day when
much, if not all, of that which is given here from the archaic records
will be found correct is not far distant. Then the modern symbologists
will acquire the certitude that even Odin, or the god Woden, the highest
God in the German and Scandinavian mythology, is one of the Buddhas.
All the avatars of Vishnu
are said to come originally from
the White Island. According to Tibetan
tradition the White Island is the only locality which escapes the general
fate of other dwipas and can be destroyed by neither fire nor water,
for it is the "eternal land." Arghya Varsha -- "the land
of libations" -- is the mystery name of that region which extends
from Kailas mountain nearly to the Schamo Desert, from within which
the Kalki Avatar is expected. It is now said to have been situated between
the sea of Aral, Baltistan, and little Tibet; but in olden times its
area was far larger, as it was the birth-place of physical humanity.
Dionysos is one with Osiris, with Krishna, and with Buddha (the heavenly
wise), and with the coming (tenth) avatar, the glorified spiritual Christos,
who will deliver the suffering Chrestos (mankind, or Prometheus, on
its trial). This, say Brahminical and Buddhistic teachings, echoed by
the Zoroastrian and now by the Christian teachings (the latter only
occasionally), will happen at the end of Kaliyuga. It is only after
the appearance of the Kalki-Avatar, or Sosiosh, that man will be born
from woman without sin. Then will Brahma, the Hindu deity; Ahura-Mazda
(Ormazd), the Zoroastrian; Zeus, the Greco-Olympian Don Juan; Jehovah,
the jealous, repenting, cruel, tribal God of the Israelites, and all
their likes in the universal Pantheon of human fancy - vanish and disappear
in thin air.
If we examine the ten mythical avatars of Vishnu, we find
them recorded in the following progression: Matsya, as a fish; Kurm,
as a tortoise; Varaha, as a boar; Nara-Sing, as a man-lion; Vamuna,
as a dwarf; Parasu Rama, as a hero, but yet an imperfect man; Rama-Chandra,
as the hero of Ramayana; Krishna; Gautama, and tenth, Maitreya, which
has not yet occurred. In the succession of avatars is to be seen clearly
carried out the truly philosophical idea of a simultaneous spiritual
evolution of creatures and man. The Matsya (fish, or dolphin) avatar
was one of the earliest incarnations of Vishnu. Matsya avatar happened
before the Varaha or boar avatar, and has reference to an event which
happened on our Earth during this Round. Esoteric philosophy distinctly
teaches that after the first geological disturbance in the Earth's axis
which ended in the sweeping down to the bottom of the seas of the whole
second continent, with its primeval races - of which successive "Earths"
or continents Atlantis was the fourth - there came another disturbance
by the axis resuming as rapidly its previous degree of inclination;
when the Earth was raised once more out of the Waters. Little, however,
can be said about the mystery which underlies the Matsya (fish) avatar
of Vishnu, the Chaldean Oannes - the Man-Fish, recorded in the imperishable
sign of the Zodiac, Pisces, and running throughout the two Testaments
in the personages of Joshua "Son of the Fish (Nun)" and Jesus;
the allegorical "Sin" or Fall of spirit into matter, and the
Moon - insofar as it relates to the "Lunar" ancestors, the
Pitris.
One sees why Occultism places Oannes and the other Annedoti
in the group of those ancient "adepts" who were called "marine"
or "water dragons" - Nagas. Water typified their human origin
(as it is a symbol of earth and matter and also of purification), in
distinction to the "fire Nagas" or the immaterial spiritual
Beings, whether celestial Bodhisattvas or Planetary Dhyanis, also regarded
as the instructors of mankind. The hidden meaning becomes clear to the
Occultist, once he is told that this being (Oannes) was accustomed to
pass the day among men, teaching; and when the sun was set, he retired
again into the sea, passing the night in the deep, "for he was
amphibious," i.e., he belonged to two planes; the spiritual and
the physical. The Greek word amphibios means simply "life on two
planes," from amphi, "on both sides," and bios, "life."
The word was often applied in antiquity to those men who, though still
wearing a human form, had made themselves almost divine through knowledge,
and lived as much in the spiritual supersensuous regions as on earth.
The symbolism of the ten avatars of Vishnu is further
illustrated. From a fish, the progress of dual transformation carries
on the physical form through the shape of a tortoise, a boar, and a
man-lion. Then, appearing in the dwarf of humanity, it shows Parasu
Rama physically, a perfect, spiritually, an undeveloped entity, until
it carries mankind personified by one god-like man, to the apex of physical
and spiritual perfection - a god on earth. It is well known that the
earliest Christian emblems, before it was ever attempted to represent
the bodily appearance of Jesus, were the Lamb, the Good Shepherd, and
the Fish. This is an inheritance from the Chaldees, and relates, as
the very name explains, to the Babylonian Dag-on, the Man-Fish, who
was the instructor and interpreter of the people to whom he appeared.
Likewise in Krishna and the other Saviours of the World we see the philosophical
idea of the progressive dual development understood and as clearly expressed
in the Zohar. The "Heavenly Man," or the universal Form and
Idea, engenders Adam. Hence the latter is god-born humanity, and endowed
with the attributes of all the ten Sephiroth. "Man is both the
import and the highest degree of creation," says the Zohar. "As
soon as man was created, everything was complete, including the upper
and nether worlds, for everything is comprised in man. He unites all
forms in himself." But this does not relate to our degenerated
mankind; it is only occasionally that men are born who are the types
of what man should be, and yet is not.
Vaivasvata Manu is the Indian Noah connected with the
Matsya (or the fish) avatar of Vishnu. There are those who are aware
that the "great Flood" was connected with sinking of an entire
continent -- save what became afterward a few islands. In the Hari Purana,
in the Bhagavad-Gita, as well as in several other books, the god Vishnu
is shown as having assumed the form of a fish with a human head, in
order to reclaim the Vedas lost during the deluge. Having enabled Visvamitra
to escape with all his tribe in the ark, Vishnu, pitying weak and ignorant
humanity, remained with them for a long time. It was this god who taught
them to build houses, cultivate the land, and to thank the unknown Deity
whom he represented, by building temples and instituting a regular worship;
and, as he remained half-fish, half-man, all the time, at every sunset
he used to return to the ocean, wherein he passed the night.
Krishna is the most celebrated avatar of Vishnu, the "Saviour"
of the Hindus and their most popular god. He is the eighth avatar. In
the story of Krishna's conception, birth, and childhood are the exact
prototypes of the New Testament story. Kwan-Shi-yin is in China "the
great Dragon of Wisdom born of Fire and Water," and this Bodhisattva
is said "to assume any form he pleases" from beginning of
a manvantara to its end, though his special birthday (memorial day)
is celebrated according to the Kin-kwang-ming-King in the second month
on the nineteenth day, and that of Maitreya Buddha in the first month
on the first day. Yet the two are one. Kwan-Shi-yin will appear as Maitreya
Buddha, the last of the Avatars and Buddhas, in the seventh Race. This
belief and expectation are universal throughout the East."

"With the Buddhists, when Maitreya Buddha has come,
then our present world will be destroyed; and a new and better one will
replace it. The four arms of every Hindu Deity are the emblems of the
four preceding manifestations of our Earth from its invisible state,
while its head typifies the fifth and last Kalki Avatar, when this world
will be destroyed, and the power of Budh, Wisdom, will be again called
into requisition to manifest itself as a LOGOS
to create the future world. The final destruction of the wicked, the
renovation of "creation" and the "restoration of purity"
will take place at the end of Kaliyuga, 427,000 years hence. The latter
end of every yuga is called
"the destruction of the world," as then the Earth changes
each time its outward form, submerging one set of continents and upheaving
another set"
Na'vi Culture and Mythology
The Na'vi all share certain key values even across clans, including their reverence for Eywa, the Great Mother, made up of all living things. They see life as a network of flowing energy, knowing, all energy is only borrowed by all living things through which it flows, and that one day, it must be returned. All creatures are understood to have two forms: a body, and a spiritual counterpart or soul or spirit (vitra). At the end of one's life, their energy subsides into Eywa, giving birth to a new life form.
As Eywa is made up of all living things, the Na'vi say, they live in Eywa, and Eywa lives in them. This, however, doesn't mean that individual life forms are identical to Eywa, who encompasses but also goes beyond them all, in the same way all cells are parts of and having their life in the organism they form, but they're not identical to the unity they comprise.
Unlike some religions from Earth, the Na'vi do not personify and worship non-living forces of the world, such as mountains, rivers, or volcanoes, nor they view Eywa as a deity who creates and governs the cosmos, who is responsible for disasters, diseases and other events. They also know that Eywa defends and guides life itself, but won't protect or favor an individual or group over another - however, in times of assault on the biosphere and the balance of life itself, she acts to protect Pandora.[2] However, they do call out for her help in times of need and express gratitude to her for escape from danger.[3] The Na'vi view all living things as a single connected system to be respected and cared for. However, they revere certain trees and plants as especially sacred - as places where it's possible to connect and communicate with Eywa herself, such as the Tree of Souls of the Omatikaya and the Spirit Tree of the Metkayina. The tsahìk, the spiritual leader of the Na'vi clans are interpreting the will of Eywa, making meaning of the signs she is understood to send, usually through the seeds of the Tree of Souls.[1]
The Na'vi seek to live in perpetual harmony with their world. Their oneness with Eywa provides them with a sense of certainty, selfless values, and pure motives. This can be interpreted as childish naiveté to humans, some of whom hope to prey on the Na'vi's perceived innocence. However, faith and optimism have proved strong enough to lead the Na'vi through many hard times throughout their history.
The Na'vi relate to the rest of the biosphere along the lines of three principles called the Three Laws of Eywa, expressing their commitment to a low-impact lifestyle: gathering and hunting only that they need and not trying to alter the ecosystems to create greater comfort for themselves.
Spiritual Practices
Saving grace
3D Version:red/cyan, cross-eyed
The Omatikaya clan link together at the Tree of Souls to attempt a consciousness transfer.
The Na'vi respect, celebrate, pray to, and give thanks to Eywa in many of their cultural practices.
The Na'vi have a deep spiritual connection with entire biosphere of Pandora, seeing other living beings as brothers and sisters, as they're all children of the Great Mother. Thus, they put an emphasis on giving thanks to the animals they kill for their meat, wishing for their spirit to be reversed into Eywa.[1][3]
In times of great need, Na'vi clan members gather at the Tree of Souls and all unanimously connect their queues to the tree; through this, they all experience a simultaneous connection to each other, a condition of profound emotional power. According to the tsahìk, this connection enables clan members to better "see" each other and amplifies any message they have to Eywa. This is the strongest statement of purpose the Na'vi can make, and is vital to important processes such as the consciousness transfer.
The Tempest's Epilogue
"You do look, my son, in a moved
sort,
As if you were dismayed; be cheerful, sir.
Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits and
Are melted into air, into thin air;
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve,
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep."
William Shakespeare 1564-1616

THE INDEPENDENT MAGAZINE

Mysteries of the snowflake: The curious world of the ice-crystal experts.
Inevitably, though, the most common question is, how can Libbrecht be so sure no two snowflakes are ever identical? He likes to tell people that physics has a Zen-like answer, “which is that it depends largely on what you mean by the question. The short answer is that if you consider there’s over a trillion ways you could arrange 15 different books on your bookshelf, then the number of ways of making a complex snowflake is so staggeringly large that, over the history of our planet, I’m confident no two identical flakes have ever fallen. The long answer is more involved – depending on what you mean by ‘alike’ and ‘snowflake’. There could be some extremely small, simple-shaped crystals that looked so alike under a microscope as to be indistinguishable – and if you sifted through enough Arctic snow, where these simple crystals are common, you could probably find a few twins.”
"The short answer is that if you consider there’s over a trillion ways you could arrange 15 different books on your bookshelf,"
Hannah, can you hear me? Wherever you are, look up, Hannah.
The clouds are lifting. The sun is breaking through.
We are coming out of the darkness into the light.
We are coming into a new world, a kindlier world, where men will rise above their hate, their greed and brutality.
Look up, Hannah. The soul of man has been given wings, and at last he is beginning to fly.
He is flying into the rainbow - into the light of hope, into the future,
the glorious future that belongs to you, to me, and to all of us. Look up, Hannah. Look up.

THE HIGH GOD IN THE AGE OF COFFIN TEXTS
Myth and Symbol in Ancient Egypt
Translated by R.T. Rundle Clark, 1959
Page 80
I am Atum, the creator of the Eldest Gods,
I am he who gave birth to Shu,
I am that great He-She,
I am he who did what seemed good to him,
I took my space in the place of my will,
Mine is the space of those who move along
like those two serpentine circles.

THE RISE AND FALL OF ANCIENT EGYPT
The History of a Civilisation from 3000 BC to Cleopatra

IN THE BEGINNING

The 'primeval mound' then became the setting for the act of creation itself, with the creator god emerging at the same time as the mound, sitting upon it. His name was Atum which, characteristically, / means both 'totality' and 'nonexistence'.

MAGIC AND MYSTERY IN TIBET
Alexandra David - Neel 1965
Page197
Mystic Theories and Spiritual
Training
"As for the method which mystics
call the 'Short Path', the 'Direct Path,'2 it is considered as most hazardous. It is - according to the masters
who teach it - as if instead of following the road which goes
round a mountain ascending gradually towards its summit, one attempted
to reach it in straight line, climbing perpendicular rocks and
crossing chasms on a rope. Only first-rate equilibrists, exceptional
athletes, completely free from giddiness, can hope to succeed
in such a task. Even the fittest may fear sudden exhaustion or
dizziness. And there inevitably follows a dread-ful fall in which
the too presumptuous alpinist breaks his bones.
By this illustration Tibetan mystics mean a spiritual fall leading
to the lowest and worst degree of aberration and perversity to
the condition of a demon.
I have heard a learned lama maintain that the bold theories regarding
complete intellectual freedom and the enfranchisement from all
rules whatever, which are expounded by the most advanced adepts
of the 'Short Path', are the faint echo of teachings that existed
from time immemorial in Central and nonhern Asia.
The lama was convinced that these doctrines agree completely with
the Buddhas highest teaching as it was made evident in various
passages of his discourses. However, said the lama, the Buddha
was well aware that the majority do better to abide by rules devised
to avert the baleful effects of their ignorance and guide them
along paths where no disasters are to be feared. For that very
reason, the all-Wise Master has established rules for the laity
and monks of average intelligence.
The same lama entertained serious doubts as to the Aryan origin
of the Buddha. He rather believed that his ancestors belonged
to the yellow race and was convinced that his expected successor,
the future Buddha Maitreya, would appear in northern Asia.
Where did he get these ideas? 1 have not been able to find out.
Dis-cussion is hardly possible with Oriental mystics. When once
they have answered: 'I have seen this in my meditations,' little
hope is left to the inquirer of obtaining further explanations."
2. "Technically, in mystic parlance, tsi gchig, lus gchig
sang rgyais, 'to attain buddha-hood in one life, one body'.
That is to say, in the very life in which one has begun ones spiritual
training. Tibetans say also lam chung ('the short road')."
Page 210
There exists an immense literature
in India devoted to the explana-tion of the mystic word aum.
The latter has exoteric, esoteric and mystic meanings. It may
signify the three persons of the Hindu Trinity: Brah-ma, Vishnou,
Shiva. It may signify the Brahman, the 'One without a second'
of the adwaita philosophy. It stands as a symbol of the Inex-pressible
Absolute, the last word to be uttered in mysticism, after which
there follows only silence. It is, according to Shri SankarAcharya,9 'the support of the meditation', or, as declared in the Mundakopanishad's text itself, 'It is the bow by the means of which the individual
self attains the universal self.'10
Again, aum is the creative sound whose vibrations build the worlds.
When the mystic is capable of hearing all in one the countless
voices, cries, songs, and noises of all beings and things that
exist and move, it is the unique sound aum which reaches him.
That same aum vibrates also in the utmost depth of his inner self.
He who can pronounce it with the right tone is able to work wonders
and he who knows how to utter it silently attains supreme emancipation.
Tibetans who have received the word Aum from India, together with
the mantras with which it is associated, do not appear to have
been acquainted with its many meanings among their southern neighbours,
nor do they know the very prominent place it occupies in their
religions and philosophies.
Aum is repeated by Lamaists along with other Sanskrit formulas,
without having a special imponance by itself, while other mystic
sylla-bles, such as hum! and especially phat!, are supposed to
possess great power and are much used in magic and mystic rites.
So much for the first word of the formula.
Mani padme are Sanskrit terms that mean jewel in the lotus'. Here
we come, it seems, to an immediately intelligible meaning, yet
the current interpretation does not take any account of that plain
meaning.
9 In his commentary on
Mundakopanishad.
10. 'The pranava (that is the
name of the sacred syllable aum) is the bow, the atman (the individual
self) is the arrow and the Brahman (universal self: the Absolute)
is said to be the mark,'
Page 211
Common folk believe that the recitations
of Aum mani padme hum! will assure them a happy
rebirth in Nub Dewa chen, the Western Paradise of the Great
Bliss.
The more 'learned' have been told that the six syllables of the
formula are connected with the six classes of sentient beings
and are related to one of the mystic colours as follows:
Aum is white and connected with gods (lha).
Ma is blue and connected with non-gods (lhamayin).11
Ni is yellow and connected with men (mi).
Pad is green and connected with animals (tudo).
Me is red and connected with non-men (Yidagl2 or other mi-ma- yin13).
Hum is black and connected with dwellers in purgatories.
There are several opinions regarding the effect of the recitation
of these six syllables. Popular tradition declares that those
who frequently repeat the formula will be reborn in the Western
Paradise of the Great Bliss. Others who deem themselves more enlightened
declare that the recita-tion of Aum mani padme hum! may
liberate one from a rebirth in any of the six realms.
Aum mani padme hum! is used as a support for a special
meditation which may, approximately, be described as follows:
One identifies the six kinds of beings with the six syllables which are pictures in their respective colours, as mentioned
above. They form a kind of chain without end that circulates through
the body, carried on by the breath entering through one nostril
and going out through the other.
Page 212
As the concentration of mind becomes
more perfect, one sees men-tally the length of the chain increasing.
Now when they go out with the expiration, the mystic syllables
are carried far away, before being absorbed again with the next
inspiration. Yet, the chain is not broken, it rather elongates
like a rubber strap and always remains in touch with the man who
meditates.
Gradually, also, the shape of the Tibetan letters vanishes and
those who 'obtain the fruit' of the practice perceive the six syllables as six realms in which arise, move,
enjoy, suffer, and pass away the innumer-able beings, belonging
to the six species.
And now it remains for the meditator to realize that the six realms (the whole phenomenal world) are subjective: a mere
creation of the mind which images them and into which they sink.
Advanced mystics reach, by the way of this practice, a trance
in which the latters of the formula, as well as the beings and
their activity, all merge into That which for lack of
a better term, Mahayanist Buddhists have called 'Emptiness.'
Then, having realized the 'Void,' they become emancipated from
the illusion of the world and, as a consequence, liberated from
rebirths which are but the fruit of that creative delusion.
Another of the many interpretations of Aum mani padme hum!
ignores the division in six syllables and takes the formula
according to its mean- ing: 'a jewel in the lotus.' These words
are considered as symbolic.
The simplest interpretation is: In the lotus (which is the world)
exists the precious jewel of Buddha's teaching.
Another explanation takes the lotus as the mind. In the depth
of it, by introspective meditation, one is able to find the jewel
of knowledge. truth, reality, liberation, nirvana, these various
terms being different denominations of one same thing.
Now we come to a meaning related to cenain doctrines of the Mahayanist
Buddhists.
According to them nirvana, the supreme salvation, is not separated
from samsara, the phenomenal world, but the mystic finds the first
in the heart of the second, just as the 'jewel' may be found in
the 'lotus.' Nirvana, the 'jewel' exists when enlightenment exists. Samsara, the 'lotus,' exists when delusion exists, which
veils nirvana, just as the many petals of the 'lotus' conceal
the 1ewel' nestling among them.
Page 213
Hum! at the end of the formula,
is a mystic expression of wrath used in coercing fierce deities
and subduing demons. How has it become affixed to the 'jewel in
the lotus' and the Indian Aum? - This again is explained
in various ways.
Hum! is a kind of mystic war cry; uttering it, is challenging
an enemy. Who is the enemy? Each one imagines him in his own way:
either as powerful fiends, or as the trinity of bad propensities
that bind us to the round of rebirth, namely lust, hatred and
stupidity. More subtle thinkers see him as the 'I.' Hum!
is also said to mean the mind devoid of objective content, etc.,
etc.
Another syllable is added to conclude the repetition of Aum
mani padme hum! one hundred and eight times on the
beads of a rosary. It is the syllable hri! Some understand it
as signifying an inner reality hidden under the appearances, the
basic essence of things.
Beside aum mani padme hum hri! other formulas are also repeated
as Aum vajra sattva! That is to say, 'Aum most excellent (diamond)
being.' It is understood that the excellent One meant is the Buddha.
The followers of the Red hat sects often repeat: Aum vajra guru
padma siddhi hum! as praise of their founder Padmasambhava. These
words mean 'Aum, most excellent powerful guru Padma, miracle worker,
hum!'
Amongst longer formulas one of the most popular is that
called kyabdo.14 It is Tibetan without admixture of Sanskrit and
its significance is plain, yet far from crude. The text runs as
follows:
'I take refuge in all holy refuges. Ye fathers
and mothers [ances-tors] who are wandering in the round of rebirths
under the shapes of the six kinds of sentient beings. In order
to attain Bud-dhahood, the state devoid of fear and sorrow, let
your thoughts be directed towards enlightenment.' "

AUM MANI PADME HUM
ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT TIMES
THE TIBETAN BOOK OF THE DEAD
Or
The After Death Experience on the Bardo Plane,
according to Lama Kazi Dawa-Samdup's English Rendering
Compiled and edited Edited by W. Y. Evans-Wentz 1960
Facing Preface To The Paperback Edition
'Thou shalt understand that it is a science most profitable, and passing all other sciences, for to learn to die. For a man to know that he shall die, that is common to all men; as much as there is no man that may ever live or he hath hope or trust thereof; but thou shalt find full few that have this calling to learn to die. . . . I shall give thee the mystery of this doctrine; the which shall profit thee greatly to the beginning of ghostly health, and to a stable fundament of all virtues. '- OrologiumSapientiae.
'Against his will he dieth that hath not learned to die. Learn to die and thou shalt learn to live, for there shall none learn to live that hath not learned to die.'-Toure of all Toures: and Teacheth a Man for to Die.
The Book of the Craft of Dying (Comper's Edition).
'\Vhatever is here, that is there; what is there, the same is here. He who seeth here as different, meeteth death after death.
'By mind alone this is to be realized, and [then] there is no difference here. From death to death he goeth, who seeth as if there is dificrence here.'-Katha Upanishad, iv. 10-11 (Swami Sharvanallda's Translation)"
Facing Preface to the Second Edition
BONDAGE TO REBIRTH
"As a man's desire is, so is his destiny. For as his desire is, so is his will; and as his will is, so is his deed; and as his deed is, so is his reward, whether good or bad.
' A man acteth according to the desires to which he clingeth. After death he goeth to the next world bearing in his mind the subtle impressions of his deeds; and, after reaping there the harvest of his deeds, he returneth again to this world of action. Thus he who hath desire continueth subject to rebirth.' "
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad
FREEDOM FROM REBIRTH
'He who lacketh discrimination, whose mind is unsteady and whose heart is impure, never reacheth the goal, but is born again and again. But he who hath discrimination, whose mind is steady and whose heart is pure, reacheth the goal, and having reached it is born no more.'

SPIRIT IN MEDICINE
CONJURED DEATHS AND ANCIENT RULERS
"Deep in an underground chamber
a solemn group of men is seeking guidance from death. They are
dressed in white robes and chanting softly around a casket that
is sealed with wax. One of their members is steadfastly counting
to himself, carefully marking the time. After about eight minutes,
the casket is opened, and the man who nearly suffocated inside
is revived by the rush of fresh air. He tells the men around him
what he saw. As he passed out from lack of oxygen, he saw a light
that became brighter and larger as he sped toward it through a
tunnel. From that light came a radiant person in white who delivered
a message of eternal life.
The priest who is attending this ceremony is pleased with the
results. "No man escapes death," he says. "And
every living soul is destined to resurrection. You go into the
tomb alive that you will learn of the light."
The man who "died" but is now reborn is happy. He is
now a member of one of the strangest societies in history, a group
of civic leaders who induced nearly fatal suffocation to create
a near-death experience.
Sound like a cult from some place in northern California? ex-hippies
looking for a new high, perhaps? Not at all. This
was the cult of Osiris, a small society of men who were the priests
and pharaohs of ancient Egypt, one of the greatest civilizations
in human history. This account of how they / Page 79 / inspired near death is an actual description
of their rites from Egyptologists who have translated their hieroglyphics.
One of the most important Egyptian rituals involved the reenactment
by their god-king of the myth of Osiris, the god who brought agriculture
and civilization to the ancient Egyp-tians. He was the first king
of Egypt who civilized his subjects and then traveled abroad to
instruct others in the fine art of civilization. His enemies plotted
against him. Upon his re-turn to Egypt, he was captured and sealed
in a chest. His eventual resurrection was seen as proof of life
eternal.
Each new king was supposed to be a direct reincarnation of Osiris.
An important part of the ceremony was to reenact his entombment.
These rituals took place in the depths of the Great Pyramid and
were a prerequisite for becoming a god-king. It is my guess that
many slaves perished while the Egyptians experimented, to find
exactly how long a person could be sealed in an airtight container
and survive.
Nonetheless, these near-death experiences were more im-portant
to the Egyptians than the lives of a few slaves. After all, this
was the age of the bicameral mind, a period in which men believed
that their thoughts came to them from the gods and were not internally
generated. For the Egyptians, thoughts and dreams were gods speaking
to them.
Prior to the evolution of individual consciousness, people were
what Princeton psychiatrist Julian Jaynes calls "bi-cameral."
By this, he means that they did not understand that their own
thoughts and actions were generated from within themselves, but
rather that they thought external gods created these thoughts
and actions. For example, a fully conscious human thinks: I am
hungry and I will make myself a sandwich. The bicameral man thought:
The gods have created a pain in my belly and cause me to find
food to satisfy them. The Iliad is an excellent example of bicameral
thinking: It is one god who makes Achilles promise not to go into
/ Page 80 / battle, another who urges him to go, and another screams
through his throat (at his enemies). In fact, the gods take the
place of consciousness. The beginnings of action are not in conscious
plans, reasons, and motives; they are-to the bi-cameral man-the
actions and speeches of gods.
This bicameral thinking has long vanished from human beings, ever
since the evolution of language and writing. Once men could write
down their thoughts, and read what other people have written,
they came to understand that each human being has an individual
consciousness, and that gods do not direct our every action.
However; ancient Egypt was a prime example of a bi-cameral society.
Jaynes states that Egyptian civilization was controlled and directed
by the bicameral voice of their first god-king" Osiris. It
was essential to their civilization that each new king consider
himself to be the vehicle of the halluci-nated voice of the dead
king whose admonitions still con-trolled society. What better
way to generate this absolute continuity of the god-king than
to have each new king undergo a near-death experience. Just as
children that I in-terviewed often perceived the light that they
saw as the light of Jesus, these king-initiates would perceive
that same light - as the spirit of Osiris.
A near-death experience by a bicameral man would have extraordinary
significance, more so even than it has to mod-ern man. For one
thing, it would be absolute proof of eternal life. Since they
felt that the gods inspired their every thought, a near-death
experience would be like having a god open the doors of perception
to a mortal.
An NDE gave Egyptian rulers a sense of all-knowing. Before they
were sealed into the casket, they only acted like kings. Afterward,
they felt as if they had deeper knowledge of the world around
them.
I also believe that an NDE as part of a king's job description
/ Page 81 / may account for the unusual peace and prosperity that
Egypt enjoyed for the nearly two thousand years that the pharaohs
reigned. As happens with those who experience NDEs today, these
kings were transformed by the humbling and exalting experience
of near death. They developed a reverence for the love that people
share with one another. They became kind and caring and interested
in the universe and the world around them.
These were people who supported extensive research in astronomy.
With their "primitive" tools, they were able to obtain
a vast knowledge of the stars, even finding dark stars that we
have been able to confirm only with powerful telescopes.
The ancient Egyptians were advanced in medicine and the use of
foods and antibiotics to prevent epidemics among pyr-amid workers.
They knew of special diets of red onions, bread, and garlic that
stimulated the immune system, a diet that was only recently endorsed
by the National Science Foun-dation. They even had a fair amount
of knowledge about surgery.
Archaeologists have deciphered the exact experience of these mystery
rituals, and virtually all agree that its purpose was to generate
an understanding of eternal life. Their un-derstanding of the
death process has been handed down through the ages in a document
known as The Egyptian Book of the Dead. This book
is simply a detailed description of a near-death experience. It
starts with a judgment scene and goes on to reveal many gods and
various voices, continues on a long boat trip through a dark tunnel,
and ends with union with a bright light.
The Egyptian Book of the Dead is quite similar to The Tibetan Book of the Dead, a manual for dying
that was passed by word of mouth in Tibetan culture until about
fifteen hundred years ago, when it was recorded by Europeans.
Page 82
The Tibetan Book of the Dead gives the dying person con-trol
over his own death and rebirth; The Tibetans, who be-lieved in
reincarnation, felt that the dying person could influence his
own destiny. The Tibetans called. this book Bardo Thodol, or "Liberation by Hearing on the After-Death Plane."
It was meant to be read after death to help the de-ceased
find the right path.
Part of what the priest is supposed
to read goes like this: "Thy own intellect, which is now
voidness. . . thine own consciousness, not formed into anything,
in reality void. . .will first experience the Radiance of the
Fundamental Clear Light of Pure Reality.
"The union of your own consciousness and the Clear Light is
the state of Perfect Enlightment. This is the Great Body of Clear
Light. . the source of life and light."
How similar the Tibetan beliefs to the Egyptians and other ancient
people too, from Europe to Africa.
The Aztec Song of the Dead represents a work that served to enlighten
the Aztecs about the world beyond. This was a society, that practiced
ritual and slow death as part of their basic religion.
Their Song of the Dead tells the story of Quetzalcoatl,
their god and legendary king who discovered the arts, science,
and agriculture and who represented the forces of civilization,
good and light. He is described by his people as "igniting
the creations of man's hands and the imagination of his heart."
"Their Song of the Dead reads
like a poetic version of a near-death experience. It practically
scores off the top of the scale of the Near-Death Experience Validity
Scale developed by researcher Kenneth Ring. The Song reads like
this:
"Then the time came for Quetzalcoatl to die, when
he felt the darkness twist in him like a river."
He then had a life review, in which he remembers all of his
good works and is able to settle his affairs. He then "saw
/ Page 83 / my face/(like looking into a) cracked mirror."
He hears flutes and the voices of friends and then passes through
a shining city and over hills of many colors.. He comes to the
edge of a great sea, where he again sees his own face, during
which time "the beauty of his face returned to him."
There is a bonfire on the beach in which he throws himself, and
. . .
It ended with his heart transformed into a star.
It ended with the morning star with dawn and evening. '
It ended with his journey to Death's kingdom with seven days of darkness.
With his body changed to light.
A star that burns forever in that sky.
All of these cultures believed
they left their bodies and embarked on a spiritual voyage,
a journey that had the same traits as that of Katie, who nearly
drowned in that swimming pool in Idaho."
The Zed Aliz Zed again presents credentials
This acknowledgement of the contributions of others within this hymn of praise to creative consciousness is freely and humbly given. It is perhaps indicative of where Eht Namuh stands on the ladder of its progress in this quintessential moment of time, that each and every one of us seeks a credit for this of that which all of us, as creative entities have been entrusted with exteriorizing. For and on behalf of that creative intelligent consciousness, holding each and every one of us in thrall, the initiator, and motivating power of the mysterious process of life.
Eht Namuh within the this of the that of the he as in she of the thou, of the thou as in ought, of the ought as in thought, give only praise and credit to the true creator. The energy of intelligent living creativity abundant and fecund manifested everywhere and in everything, for all is living energy, living creative energy, known variously and collectively as the one God. Cast off the shackles of thy puny ego Eht Namuh and accord thanks only for thy honoured participation in creativity of a kind and thank your stars for that, for there is a mountain to climb or otherwise a mounting oblivion shall be your future. In the beginning was the word and the word was that notion, the notion of an individual unique self is no notion at all, therefore if any part of the this of the that of this work can in any way help to free the understanding of thee Eht Namuh from the dark age tyranny of thy thinking thoughts of the he as in she absurdity of the no notion at all of an individual self publish and be not damned, but be thou blessed. Give only thy praise in wonder to that living essence of the energy within and without which is thy true nature. Blessed be the name of thy true god which is at one with thee, for thou art of it and it of thee.
